The Northern Neck Baptist Association A laments and mourns the death of Mr. William "Bill" Jones who passed away on August 23rd in Florida. He was the brother of NNBA trustee John Jones and son of the late Deacon Daniel O. Jones, one of the founders of the Northern Neck Baptist Deacons' Union, Inc.

To Pastor Frank and Sis. Gloria Brooks of the Lively Hope Baptist Church in the passing of their son Bro. Montae Brooks, Sr. who passed away on August 27th.

To Sis. Annie Lucas of the Clarksville Baptist Church in the passing of her son Bro. John D. Lucas on August 28th. He was also the son of  the late Deacon William Lucas, the second President of the Northern Neck Baptist Deacons' Union, Inc. 

To former Pastor James L. Johnson {Lyells Chapel Baptist Church} and family in the passing of his daughter Deaconess Gracie E. Johnson Byrd of the Little Zion Baptist Church who passed away on August 26th.
